burntheflaws, that second icon is completely gorgeous! The colors and the texture work so well together, I love the way you have the vibrant reds inside the texture lines and the muted tones outside. And more lovely composition in #4, such amazing blocking and the greens are lovely. And #8, so amazing, love all the different colors. And reading your explanations was really fun as well!
dashberlin, ooooh wow, your icons for this activity are somehow even more stunning than usual! The bright, varying colors in #11 (the light wow!), the silhouettes and soft pinkness of #13, the gorgeous muted tones of #16... so amazing! I think #16 is my ultimate favorite, just every single aspect of that icon is spot on.
erzsebet, your texture use and lighting is so lovely! #42 is gorgeous, love how many different greys you worked in to the icon. #45 is so amazing, love how much emotion you have packed in and that shade of pink is beautiful, so soft and delicate. And my absolute oh-my-goodness favorite is

#2 is my least favorite as well. IF YOU MEAN MY LEAST FAVORITE BECAUSE IT TEASES ME WITH SOMETHING I WILL NOW NEVER HAVE. I did not know I had a secret thing for Mike/Mike. This is all your fault. YOU BLENDING GENIUS YOU.
Well I would personally love to see Harvey/Harvey (The snark! The absolute animal magnetism! The frenzy of gorgeous double-breasted suits!), so I'm thrilled to welcome you to the camp of not-in-a-million-years OTPs, bwahaha.
Anyway, this challenge was a lot of fun to work with. I wish more makers could have participated, but there are some really great icons here regardless!
Thank you so much! I had heaps of fun with this challenge, but far too little time. The first one is pretty much my favourite though, because I could do so many things I love with it: negative space, blue, texture and text. ;)
