First, we'd like to thank everyone who offered help. We apologise to those whose comments we didn't answer right away ― by the time we finished setting up a community, it was 3AM for us and we had trouble remembering our own names, let alone knowing what kind of help we needed. But now we have some specific requests and we're looking for volunteers! We also have some announcements to make.
HELP REQUESTS
1. Around 2PM (GMT) we are going to need two or three people who would check all the comments in the
old masterpost and see if all the characters claimed there have their own posts on
womenlovefest. There are over six hundred comments, so we might've missed someone. covered!
2. Banners, banners, banners! We need endless numbers of banners so we could use any help we can get. Further information:
here.
3. Since so far all the mods are Polish and even though we all speak English, it is our second language, we need a native speaker of English to proof-read the rules post as soon as it's written. We just want to make sure that everything is clear and we don't end up like this wizard who mispronounced a vowel and, instead of conjuring a glass of wine, ended up smashed by a huge elephant. Covered!
4. We will be accepting new mods. We hope we are almost done with adding new characters and stuff, but we will need people from all over the world to just be here 24/7 (we would love to be here 24/7, but it turned out that after two days we actually need some sleep; we're getting old :( ) and answer all the questions that might appear. The question post will appear within an hour.
5. We need two or three people who would browse
all the tags and make a proper list of all the fandoms we have here, so that we can just copy it and paste into the community's user info as interests. It would be nice if we could have our interests updated within a week, so there's no rush.
6. After the action is finished, there will be some sort of a review post and we will welcome all the suggestions as to how to make the next edition better. Because, let's face it, this whole thing is so awesome we can't help but do it again in a couple of months :).
7. After the action is finished, we are going to need about twenty people (or maybe more ― we'll cross that bridge when we get there) to help us with the character's masterposts. Right now there is just a banner in every post and as the action goes, we'll ask you to link in comments all the works you're posting on your journals / tumblrs / blogs etc (exact rules will be posted, see: point 3). But after September 16th we will want
womenlovefest to become a huge, multilingual database of fandom-related stuff considering women. The posts will need to be updated by the people who made them in the first place (so far:
akzseinga,
idrilka,
mlekopijca and
upupa-epops), but you can make the lists of links for us just to copy and paste. This is is an example of how we imagine a finished masterpost should look like:

ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. Right now we're basically using our own user info as an announcement board. We realize it's a bit sloppy, but in a minute we are going to resume posting entries for characters who don't have them yet, and all announcements are going to disappear, buried under a pile of character posts, since they can't be back-dated. So from now on all the announcements will be crossposted to

Thank you so much for your help. Seeing so many people who want to participate, contribute and show their love for women in various fandoms is one of the most amazing things we've ever experienced. Everything we do, we do in awe, because, seriously... Three days ago we were just having a small, spontanous meme; right now we are basically organizing a huge cultural event. How did this happen?
