First, we'd like to thank everyone who offered help. We apologise to those whose comments we didn't answer right away ― by the time we finished setting up a community, it was 3AM for us and we had trouble remembering our own names, let alone knowing what kind of help we needed. I will be making banners although some of them probably won't be ready until late Thursday/Friday morning, I'd be happy to help mod. I'm EST/EDT, but I'm usually on most hours of the day, I'd also be happy to look tags for you to help do master lists.

I'm based in Australia and happy to help with anything between my uni courses! I don't mind making a list of all the fandoms and will probably try and make banners when I can!

If you want, what I can do is send you a list of new fandoms to add once a day to the interests section, since I think LJ alphabetizes them automatically anyway! That way you can get the community info's interests list started, but you don't have to add them one by one either!

If that's too much work, I'm happy to just send one bulk list by whatever deadline you want :)

Compiled a list and tested it out on one of my other LJ accounts, but it turns out you're limited to 150 interests (as of now I've got a list of about 172) and on top of that it rejects interests with more than four words (eg. A Song of Ice and Fire, Homicide: Life on the Streets).

You wrote: we need a native speaker of English to proof-read the rules post as soon as it's written. We just want to make sure that everything is clear and we don't end up like this wizard who mispronounced a vowel and, instead of conjuring a glass of wine, ended up smashed by a huge elephant.

I am a proofreader trained by a professional and would be glad to proof read the rules post as well as anything else you need proof read.
