I have a Toshiba Qosmio X505 with an 18" screen and I love it! :) Lightning fast, has a BD player, and the speakers have great sound quality. It gets kinda warm when I game, but nothing too bad.

Honestly I run two labtops I have a dell xps 1530 for my lower rate games which is fine and dandy but if your looking at like hardcore MMO video games NOTHING compares to the new alienware gaming labtop. You can find some wicked discount coupons online and the computers themselves are stunning. I would never use anything else for my MMO's again. The clear crisp color sharp resolution and speed is just amazing. Plus unlike the dell laptops I've had in the past *my most current listed above* the Alienware doesn't run hot where as using my dell I tend to have it power itself down for overheating issues even when its on a well circulated area ( ... )

I have an Asus G-series and I love it. It's quite powerful (though it had a hefty pricetag).

I have an Asus G51! It was a pretty amazing bargain for its specs ($999) but it has its issues (mainly, overheating). But once I got it a good quality chill mat and got vigilant about cleaning it out, it's run beautifully.

I have a G50 (same price as yours when I bought it) and the only problem I had was a bad copy of Vista that ended up corrupting my hdd. I had to replace it 2 months ago so I upgraded to Win7 and now it works beautifully.

Hi!
I have an Alienware Mx11, and I love it, you can carry it wherever, and its performance in many games is very good, cons... the screen is small, but you can connect it to an external monitor and that's it n.n
if you do not like you can buy one Mx17 or Mx15.

The biggest drawback I have found about gaming on a laptop is that cooling is a problem; the keyboard can get quite hot after protracted heavy use. Now, obviously, there are ways to help this: cleaning out the vents, opening up the laptop to replace the thermal paste under the heatsink, buying a lap desk, using a wireless keyboard - but basically you always have to do something about cooling.
