I finished my finals this week and, to my disappointment, completed Far Cry 3. I wasn't sure whether or not to post this here because I don't know how it'll be received but I think it'd be good for discussion.

So.. I've played Minecraft on both consoles. I personally like the PC version better to make things short, but what I'm concerned about is the multilayer/co-op.

I feel the ones who play the game on PC are more.. I dunno.. professional gamers. I can't go past peaceful mode. :'D So I feel that if I play with the ones on the PC they'll be annoyed at my ( Read more... )

So, my current laptop is four years old and can't play all of the shiny games I've been drooling over/my boyfriend has been bugging me to play.  I'm in the market for something reasonably priced ($1500 is the most I'd want to spend) that will play things like Star Wars: The Old Republic and Fable for PC.  Anyone have any recs?
