I don't know about any of the fandoms, really, but if you like the show it may be worth checking you out.

I love True Blood, love the show, it's well worth a watch. Seriously addictive. Dexter, creepy and intense, love the books too. Stargate Atlantis, love the fanfic and love the show :)

I'm a bit like you - wobbling. I haven't been totally obsessed with a show AND a fandom since BtVS and have zero interest in the comics.

As much as I love Supernatural as a telly programme, Wincest pretty much killed off the fandom for me. I'm still reading J2 AU but that has nothing to do with the show.

Have you considered Criminal Minds and/or NCIS? Both have ensemble casts, so plenty of charas to play with, and large fandoms. Bad news is, if you haven't been watching them there are a lot of seasons to catch up with.

Castle, The Mentalist and White Collar are all well worth watching but I can't get fannish about them. Glee is a lot of fun but only if you like American musicals.

I second the rec for Criminal Minds. It's got some fantastic writing and the acting is top notch.

Totally agree. I've had qualms with some very graphic violence, but the characters are excellently written and the actors are up to the job. There's also a good variety of possible pairings, both slash and het.

'I've had qualms with some very graphic violence'
That's true, they don't shy away form it, do they. I think what I like best about Criminal Minds is the cast is a true ensemble (and they all have such great chemistry with each other); no one character is more important than another. Unlike CSI: Miami where Horatio ALWAYS saves the day.

If you can find a Being Human comm or site that's active enough to bother with I'll join you in that fandom. :) There isn't even a 'ship I can think of that I don't like the idea of so I'm very easy to please.

I've found a few comms here and there but nothign particularly active. But yeah, it might pick up with a new season. 6 episodes is hard to base much of a fandom on.

Very true, 6 episodes is not a lot to base a fandom on, short for even a Rritish season.
