I just received an email from my mortgage broker and all conditions have been met! This means that on the closing date of January 16, I will receive keys to a brand new condo. No more paying rent, especially rent that is nearly as much as a mortgage. ^_^ This place has never been lived in before and is in a great neighbourhood in NW Calgary. In ( Read more... )

Wait..you're not behaving like a regular fur...I mean, think of how many fursuits you could buy or cons you could go to with that downpayment money! Live for the now...don't waste your money on boring stuff like a place to live!!!

Somewhere in the distance... we'll hear the pounding of native drums... *hugs* My neighbours are irrelevant, since I am on floor 2 of 2, the floors contain concrete rather than being made completely from wood, and the place is pretty well insulated from noise between units. Btw, happy you-made-it-around-the-sun-again-without-dying-day to you, today. :) See you at FF next year (new favourite con).

glad to hear that your gonna be able to have your own place. I hope life can treat you well and your able to find a special someone to share your home with.
