hariet_vane and I have been discussing how attractive Gerard is, and we've concluded that something suspicious is going on there. The conversation went a little something like this:
hariet_vane: Gerard is so pretty in that interview. It's not fair. I thought he looked good unshowered and gross, but apparently someone *even hotter* was lurking underneath. Good job, Gee.
liketheroad: Gerard is so attractive I honestly can't understand why there aren't more "he's secretly an alien from planet Beautiful People Who Don't Even Need To Shower (but it's better if they do)" theories out there.
hariet_vane: I have to assume the prom pictures were part of the plot to throw people off Gerard's alienness, then. Because, wow.
liketheroad: I think the prom pictures are all part of an elaborate disguise! He like, hatched out of his alien shell around 2002, is what happened.

Is Mikey an alien? His super!pretty has been kicking in of late, even I can recognize that - does this suggest some sort of hotness hatching age factor? Were they fleeing religious persecution? Was Gerard just TOO PRETTY even for a planet populate solely by beautiful people? Was he just trying to save intergalactic lives? What type of alien powers manifest themselves (during sex)?
