So I would've posted sooner, but I couldn't do this con report without a really good Jewel Staite icon, so in the search for that I wound up with a whole lot more. I think I have a problem with eljay icons. But hey, I'd rather pay $10 and not have to make any decisions, seriously ( Read more... )

OMG That's an awesome adventure! I'm so happy for you. And jealous. (here from rigelianculture) ^_^ The "PS- Suzee says hi!" is the cutest thing ever. Also, pictures are a must.

Oh there will definitely be pictures.

I am going to fangirl all over again when they come in the mail. And if there is so much as a scratch on them, people will be injured. Severely.

Sounds like you guys had an AMAZING time at UFC!! :) And just wait until y'all come down to DragonCon next year...I'll make sure we have a BLAST!! :D

Wow, so you saw William Shatner? I was the first in line for David's photo op on Saturday and there were probably a dozen of us, and we found out that Shatner was coming up - so the con staff shoved us into the photo op room (once they got a room key - no one had one!) as, well, I have no idea why. It wasn't like we'd do anything silly.

And yes, the registration line was painfully slow! If you click on my name, I put up a write-up of David Nykl's (and Gary Jones') talk so you might be able to pick up on something you missed while you stood in line.

Thanks! Nice pictures, you must've been up close. I think his sweater probably looks a different color because they had all those crazy lights on the stage.

I think I need to go rent Snakehead Terror now. ;-)

Actually, I was in the cheaper seats off to the side, but the digital camera has a 12x zoom and I used it as best I could considering the lighting. And yeah, those lights were odd, but thank god there were lights, no matter what color.

Snakehead Terror is a hoot; one of the better done ones, but DN's Pterdactyl is better. Wonder if that's on DVD?
