I had a very vivid and very unsolicited dream last night about a dirty bomb being detonated in an urban area, and the ensuing chaos. Usually, my dreams are smorgasbords of things I've been doing/stuff I've been watching/people I've been hanging lately. This dream, however, was completely out of left field. Prophetic, perhaps? I hope not.

I'm having a strange evening.
Its like suddenly, all the things I used to enjoy are filled once more with flavor and color. I want to consume them again, revel in their geekery and be thrilled by them. Stephen King novels, cheesy action/scifi movies, Nickelodeon shows. I can't get enough. It's like someone lit my hair on fire.

I've been in New Hampshire for the last few days after helping get the ship to Cleveland for haulout. I took an Amtrak at 5am three days ago, got stuck behind a rusty drawbridge for two hours, and ended up arriving four hours late in Boston.
