Again it's been a while since an update. I really need them to invent a client that will update from you thinking about doing so because that seems to be as far as I get most days. I have been reading though and commenting here and there so I still have been around.

SPN is the new crack, and it's nice to see 'familiar faces' from my 'old fandoms' finding the same new fandom as I have. Looking forward to seeing that SPN vid...

*grin* It'll be awhile as I have several other vids I need to do first, and I haven't nailed down a song yet (although I have options). But the longer I wait, the more episodes I'll have to work with so this is not necessarily a drawback. :)

Thanks for the heads up about Doctor Who coming out today. I hadn't bought myself anything special for V day either. I was planning on getting some pad thai on the way home, but I'm not sure if that rates as truly spoiling myself. Doctor Who dvds definitely fit the bill. :-)

It's only out in Canada today; the American release got pushed back to this summer because Sci Fi finally picked it up to show and they wanted to air it before the DVDs were available.

But if you can't wait, you can order from Amazon.ca... which I would've done except I had Xmas cash left over that I wanted to spend so it was easier to just go to the store and pick it up. :)

Yeah, amazing isn't it? *grin* One of the reasons I *really* wanted to go to VVC is that it'll let me put faces to a whole different set of names than the ones I was used to seeing at Connexions. That's half the fun of cons after all. :)

Yes, and it needs to be shower-proof (which I where I think about my posts most days, well when my muse isn't demanding attention) definitely needs to be shower proof!

Showers, when I'm out driving, lying in bed... all places where I come up with eurodite and witty lj posts. Or pretty much anywhere except in front of the computer. That's just the way of things it seems.

I haven't watched any of the Olymics this time around; weird, as I've always loved the skating.

And yay for you falling for Supernatural and Farscape, which I'm watching one episode a week and loving.

I don't know why I always find myself obsessively watching the Olympics (even sports I never watch otherwise) but I always seem to. But I do seem to always end up enjoying it, whether Canada is doing well or not.

I am so in love with SPN now, which is surprising when I look back to the beginning of the season and how I hadn't even planned on checking it out until my friendslist exploded in gushing over it. It's creepy and pretty and has a nice complex relationship with real depth. And did I mention the pretty? Because... pretty!

So much pretty :-) It resonated with me from the start the way some shows do. Not Buffy/Angel/SG-1 levels of addiction, but solid silver medal status :-) Looking forward to the DVDs!
