Coping with my Dad's decline

I find that as the time to leave for my trip approaches, I'm being more and more affected by the thought of my Dad's decline. It's been bothering me a lot more today as I arranged a car rental. A bit sad? I should think it's more than that. Watching someone you love decline is very hard.

I suppose people around you might have been trying to give you privacy, basically, more than being apathetic. When someone is crying in public, it's hard to know what they want and need from others.

Please be gentle with yourself, get extra support, take stellar care of your health. Stress and grief are really hard on the body.

I'm so sorry you and your family are going through this.

Losing a parent is one of the hardest parts of life, and I'm so sorry you are going through this. You are in my thoughts hon
