Coping with my Dad's decline

I find that as the time to leave for my trip approaches, I'm being more and more affected by the thought of my Dad's decline. It's been bothering me a lot more today as I arranged a car rental. *hugs* I'm not sure if people in general really know how to deal with open non-ok in public in general, but even less so when it's a man who's obviously not ok. Our culture says men have to be non-emotional (despite current movements to push you guys the other way - you're *supposed* to be emotional...just not in public apparently).

I'm sorry to hear what's going on with your father. I'm glad, though, that you're able to go on this trip.
