That's not a DOG! That's a furry HORSE!

The funny thing is, that I DO have a saddle for him.
We use it when we on visits during Halloween. We go as the "Headless Horseman." You know what, as cool as that costume is - we loose to the toy poodle dressed in a sweater EVERY year!

What a lovely picture! Their hair color's very similar, isn't it?

A real success for the most beautiful dogs in the world.

I hadn't noticed before - but you are absolutely right about the hair.
Yeah, they are beautiful - but I am biased.

Yes, they are "noble" a good word to describe them.
They stare into your soul, you can't hide a thing from them...

Thanks for the links about the fires, we don't hear all that much over here. I saw the video you posted on facebook with the firefighter who found Sam - it just tugs on your heart.

The dogs are way cool. Taller than me, I'm sure!

May I ask you to please help me understand how dogs are named in shows? I have a hard time with that.

Great question! It is ALL so very complicated. Just to clarify, you are asking about the dog's American Kennel Club registered name? The "Champion So and So from/of Wherever name, right? I'll try and write down the Reader's Digest version sometime very soon. This reminds me of the movie "Best in Show", all about the "crazy" people behind the dogs at major shows, pretty accurate if you ask me.

Yes, those are the names I meant. I know their names aren't Spot, but they just seem so long and I can't make sense of them. Thanks for your efforts.

My husband and I LOVE that movie--the nut recitative at the beginning, the couple who meet at the dueling corner Starbuck's--all too funny.
