Whoa... not many would have that name, even though it is well-known. Well, I know about it, and if anyone knows of Japanese myth and lore, they'd know about it.

It's a very old name, isn't it? Funny how things like myths don't sound real anymore, do they?

[[Amaterasu just finds all the legends very flattering. After saving the country, she sorta stuck close to home and let people say what they wanted. She's definitely surprised to find so many people who've heard about her all the way out here!]]

They might not, but people still hold on to them regardless. Or, some feel a special connection to them, as a cultural thing which shouldn't be forgotten.
