[ The sound of a wolf howling happily pervades this post. If you're in the castle, you may have heard it (and may have noticed the clouds clearing up just for the duration of the howl.) ]

[ +1 Wolfwitch Ghost for you, Hogwarts. ]

Whoa... not many would have that name, even though it is well-known. Well, I know about it, and if anyone knows of Japanese myth and lore, they'd know about it.

Pleasure to make your acquaintance.

It's a very old name, isn't it? Funny how things like myths don't sound real anymore, do they?

[[Amaterasu just finds all the legends very flattering. After saving the country, she sorta stuck close to home and let people say what they wanted. She's definitely surprised to find so many people who've heard about her all the way out here!]]

They might not, but people still hold on to them regardless. Or, some feel a special connection to them, as a cultural thing which shouldn't be forgotten.

We all have roots, and we all want to have a connection to it whether it's a conscious decision or not. While I might be a citizen of England, half of my ancestors were from Japan, so it piqued my interest.

But to know that you're here... that's fascinating, to be honest. I mean, not many people would be able to say they've talked to you, now, could they? I honestly look forward to meeting you personally when I get back to the castle.

I'm glad you haven't lost touch with your roots. A homeland like that is very important, and Japan especially is the land I worked so hard to protect, so I must say, I look forward to meeting you as well.
