I've felt since closing Book 6 that Snape is good and that he'd die--that was my strong impression before I ever heard any speculations or interpretations in fandom or interviews from JKR.

I know this would bum out many on my f-list, but I rather hope Lucius does get killed--I so despise him. Since I wish it, and these days find it also hard to be kind to Ron, I'm sure both he and Ron will survive.

I believe all of the trio will. I think JKR will go for what she (but not we Snape fen) will see as a happy ending. I find it hard to believe she'd kill off Hermione--not just because that's her alter ego, but how can she kill the strongest heroine in the book that so many little girls identify with?

I agree Dumbledore, though dead, will still be a factor, that at least one Weasley will be a goner, and that Harry will probably lose a father figure.

I guess we'll all find out soon--within hours

Finished! Phew! I didn't even want to read people's predictions before I'd read the book.... but now it's really interesting to look at what people thought!
