I just hiked up a glacier and summited Mt. Lyell! So much snow... Miles and miles of snow. The tundra hasn't thawed out yet. Late spring here. Two friends and I went up. According to the summit register at the top, we are the 5th party to summit this year.

I imagine the mountains are the perfect place to be in mid-July.

Mountain climbing sounds fun as hell, but I don't know how well I'd do with vertical climbing. I'd probably look down, panic, fall, and die. Possibly in that order.

It's like parkour, except more slow and methodical. I love it! We should climb some time.
