scanner sez: "Law Enforcement Career day for the elementary school."
A sheriff chopper approached from the north and started circling low over Sedillo park. I think it has landed now.

The street between Parkview and Sedillo Park was closed/blocked by NMSP trucks with their lights on when I walked by this morning. I was wondering why. I'm still not sure why they would close the street like that for "Law Enforcement Career Day".

Part of the reason is probably that lots of kids are running around.
