pheregirl posted a recipe for rumballs ages ago - she's a pretty damn good cook, so I can't imagine her recipe being bad...but it looks similar to the one you used. more rum and no raisins though...

oooh this jam was so good when it was hot! It filled 3 jars and then there was a bit left over so I just ate it with a spoon. Kim busted me and was like "what are you doing?!" and I was like "ummmm eating jam with a spoon OK?!?". DELICIOUS!

I'm currently making a Cola Cake, which is taking forever to bake, and earlier I messed up a cheesecake. Today has been one of my worst days in the kitchen EVER. -_- If the cake doesn't work out, I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm nearly out of time and patience.

ugh I hate when stuff doesn't work, I was up until nearly midnight finishing my white christmas and rum balls so I could take some into work, but my rum balls weren't staying ball shaped and my white christmas was crumbly (hence the addition of condensed milk). It's so annoying when you're usually a good cook, and then things go pear shaped!
