Plum Jam

A recipe from my mum for talluleh - my mum is a jammy character and makes great jams, marmelade...One time I had to help her thinly cut cumquats for marmelade (SO MUCH TIME INVOLVED).

Ingredients
1.5 kg dark plums
500g pears (firm but ripe)
1 cup water
8 cups sugar

Thank you so much! I'm going to give this a go on monday, whilst telling anyone interested that it AIN'T TOO HARD FOR ME TO JAM!
