further evidence to support my theory that americans are the worst cooks in the world.. and, that's in a world where people make dung cakes and mud buscuits.
hrm.. if it's a new series then no.. i saw this advertised the other day, and it looked kinda cool. i think this might be a replay, or a second series maybe? i once saw a similar thing where a dude was going round to a bunch of different war torn countries and checking out their traditional food. the ep i saw was afghanastan.. they were slow baking a leg of something in the ground.. then just sitting on a hill eating it while you could see shells going off in the far far distance..
I'm going to be all over that curry for dinner tonight!
re: the cheetos broccoli, wtf? I love that he kept adding MORE butter, because you know, even with the oil, and the cream, and the cheese, one lump of butter just ISN'T ENOUGH.
there was butter at every step of the journey!!!!!
i was actually going to make your green bean thoran to accompany my lamb curry last night (i'll post recipe too) but i didn't have any green chillies!! i ordered some chillies for next week, so will try it this week :)
