Y'know a lot can be said for a fig. While I'd love to say I eat it purely for the taste I'd be lying. Apart from the dietary benefits, humans have been eating it for eons, but one of the reasons I love it so much is it just LOOKS so damn GREAT. dont hate me.. but i dont think ive ever eaten a fig.

whenever ive seen them cooked its been the balsamic in the oven trick.. and yes, usually served with something that has a salty/sharp flavour.

after your passionate entry i think i'll have to head down to fig town.
