Okay, I don't even know if this one has a name... but this is my all-time favourite recipe... I found it in a book when I was little and banned from eating unhealthy food... and I managed to get mum to make it as my 13th Birthday cake!   It's easy, and good for gaining those extra kilos should you need to compete in a ... fat... competition ??

haha, I don't know if there are any cake pics... maybe there are some of everyone covered in chocolate!!

I had a 'pool party' and was living on the north coast, so whilst we were nice and cool, the 'cake' wasn't, and I distinctly remember us spooning melted chocolate into our mouths.

Mum did put alcohol in it... I never considered this an issue until now! Hmmm... maybe THAT is why I'm not getting anywhere with my uni essays!

awwww. neglect!

my mum's friends were laughing the other day about the old alcohol remedies that used to be offered to cholic-y babies. i guess you can tell they're well past having kids, and now have no patience for any younger than their own!

I'm not sure it would have qualified as a 'cake' since it is chocolate, booze and more chocolate.
