Love it. It was so sweet. I always look forward to your MaruDa fics. It somehow brightens up my day. ^_^
I couldn't catch the eclipse because of where I am. On top of that it was raining. However I did manage to watch it on tv, live feed from India and China. It was indeed a beautiful sight. Thus I can just imagine the two of them wanting to simply enjoy the sight alone.
Anyways. YEAH! I was watching it on tv too. It looked so amazing. :000 I wished they watched it alone too. xD Somehow from that R-ONE episode a few weeks back when they talked about the eclipse, it didn't seem like Maru wanted to watch it with everyone else. HAHAHA.
That cKT ep is made of pure win. I behave like the spazzy fangirl cheering madly in front of my computer screen for 30 minutes, haha.

The next time the eclipse comes around for them, Maru and Ueda would be 51 years old. And they didn't manage to see the eclipse this time round cos' they'reon the main island of Okinawa where they can't see it. Of cos', if they are able to sneak out of the place, we won't know =P They talked about this in R-One Ep 168.
Actually my friend showed me a Chinese translation, which she then translated to English on her blog. ^^" I'm not sure if this works but---> Nakamaru's Page #412 :D I pasted it on a Google doc. But it should be viewable. ^^
Anyways. YEAH I know. LOL i was thinking about that ep. Then before the day of the eclipse I actually wrote another version where they escape from the other 4 and go to Amami to watch the eclipse xD HAHAH but then apparently all six of them went to watch together?! So I was like confused. -.- And gave up on that version. -.- And wrote this. (Although I kind of preferred the other one, since I went to do like research for it. ._.) So I suppose.. maybe they could see like a really partial one from where they were? :S LOL.
