[One-Shot] Shining
EHHHH I was initially trying to find facts so that I can write this as close to their correct locations and situations as possible. But... Well, I gave up. -.-
Anyways. I LAFJSHFSHFKSHFSDLSKJDLSDJALDS BECAUSE KOALABOY LOOKS FANTASTIC IN THE NEW CON GOODS! :D SO MUCH LOVEEE. ^^ Heard his hair looks great now too. Can't wait for pics to come out. xD *ruffles his hair* Or... Um... Whatever there is of his hair.

Summary: Yuichi just wanted to watch the solar eclipse with Tatsuya. Alone. (Not that they could.) Extremely short fluff.
The sky was darkening slowly, and Yuichi absent-mindedly looked at the crowd. His eyes lingered on the couples that had gone to watch the solar eclipse together. He almost sighed but stopped himself in time.
Tatsuya seemed to understand him, and put a hand on his shoulder.
Yuichi glanced at him, and returned the resigned smile that Tatsuya had.
They were watching the solar eclipse with their four other band-mates. It was hard to be romantic when that was the case. For starters, Junno and Koki, two men who never seemed to stop teasing or scolding each other, were somewhat fighting a few metres away.
Yuichi didn’t know if he should feel happy to be watching this rare total solar eclipse with Tatsuya beside him, or feel sad that they weren’t alone.
Tatsuya dropped his hand so he could hold Yuichi’s. He squeezed Yuichi’s hand lightly and when Yuichi turned to look at him, he shot him a sly smile.
Yuichi furrowed his brows questioningly.
Tatsuya shrugged and said nothing.
Junno and Koki were still randomly smacking each other, although they had stopped rolling around on the floor. Yuichi had no idea what they were trying to do, or if they were even fighting. Perhaps some people just had different preferences in the ways they show their love. Yuichi smiled as that thought ran through his mind. Then Tatsuya tugged on Yuichi’s hand, and he realized that all around them, people were starting to chatter more excitedly.
A television screen near them showed that the solar eclipse was almost at totality. And in a few moments, they were all enveloped in complete darkness.
Instinctively, both of them looked up into the sky for a brief moment. The ring of light that radiated from the outline of the moon was beautiful.
Then Tatsuya grabbed Yuichi’s hand and ran. Tatsuya wasn’t sure where he was going; he just wanted to be with Yuichi and Yuichi only. He finally stopped at a relatively deserted area, and it seemed that the totality of the eclipse was not over yet.
Yuichi used his free hand to hold Tatsuya’s. They gazed at each other for a few moments, their eyes boring into each other’s.
“The next eclipse we see, we’ll be old men,” Yuichi said.
“I hope we can see it together, again.”
Yuichi leaned forward and kissed Tatsuya lightly on his forehead. “We will.”
“It’s a promise, then,” Tatsuya said softly, glancing up at Yuichi.
Yuichi held Tatsuya’s hands tightly, then he stretched his hands backwards so Tatsuya was pulled closer to him. He tilted his face towards Tatsuya’s.
“How sneaky!”
Both of them jumped apart in shock, to see Koki looking at them accusingly with a raised eyebrow.
“Where’s Junno?” Tatsuya retorted back right away.
“What? Why do I care?”
“Oh, I’m sure you know that better than us,” Yuichi piped in, winking at Tatsuya, who chuckled.
“Know what?” Another voice asked.
Koki spun around to find Junno standing behind him.
Making use of the distraction, Yuichi turned towards Tatsuya again, this time wrapping his arms around him. He only just managed to see a grin spreading itself across Tatsuya’s face before their lips met.
The sky was slowly becoming brighter again, yet they hardly cared.
Yuichi revelled in the simple joys of the moment; his hands on the small of Tatsuya’s back, his lips locked with Tatsuya’s, his brain filled with nothing but Tatsuya’s intoxicating scent. He could hear Koki saying something in the background, but he ignored him.
This very moment, Yuichi just knew that Tatsuya would always be the most brilliant love he would ever have.
