Since I don't have unlimited budget for my trip to Japan in December I'm trying to save money where I can. So far I have a plane ticket (580€) and I know I'll need about a 100€ for food and transport per week (probably less but better be sure). I wanted to ask you how did you find airplane ticket for 580€?
I would really appreciate your help because I'm planning trip to Japan in the summer and I don't have much time or unlimited budget so I have to find the cheapest ticked and hostel possible x_x

I'm planing to go in December,and I was planing to buy my ticket in August :) so I hope that I'll find good price :)
and how long will I stay depends of my exams in college :( but I think it should be around 3-4 weeks)
I'm from Serbia so I think that I'll have to take flight also from Italy or some other nearby country...

You might also want to check homepage of some air companies, prices might differ per page, so be careful about the small print.
I started looking in August as well, but as I said price can change in a day or a week so... .
For 3 or 4 weeks it's best to stay in a guest house if you only plan on staying in one town, but if you plan on seeing more than Rail pass.
