I have no intention of giving up on Flames of War - it's that army level scope of play that I love. The trick is finding a way to mitigate those factors that leave us going "eh, let's play Frostgrave

That’s fair. I do not want to quit on FOW I am just not emotionally invested in it right now…which happens when I do not play a game often and find more enticing alternatives like frost grave and company of iron. If you can find me a PDF of third edition rules I can also read up on the material. Part of our issue is that you keep having to look up rules that I have not read…which slows us both down since you are the only person who can access the fundamentals. . I honestly enjoyed our 1500ish point games. Looking back at our recaps, I think I would continue enjoying the experience. I would like to make it work. Selfishly, I spent a lot of time and coin building up my forces. While I would not cry if I had to see them hit the eBay block, I’d rather see them hit the table, especially given how much you have invested in terrain and printing resources.
