Title: No Fear (In Love) Author: lezi Characters: Kurt/Puck (Mentions Finn and Burt) Challenge: Fear Rating: PG Notes: Spoilers for 1.04, "Preggers." Quote was taken from a Bible passage.
Love is a special thing :) (Althugh to be honest I'm scared of dating. More because it would be horribly inconvienant at this point in my life, but yeah...)
^ Agreed! Though I'm more apt to scream at garden gnomes. *shudder*
I'm not scared of dating per se--I mean, as someone who has never really dated before (unless you count some confusing little whirlwind of a year in first grade 'dating'), I'm nervous about dating--but I don't know if I could handle it. I love the thought of romantic love, but have I ever successfully played with its fire and not gotten burned? Nope.
Newly lesbian, with a few bitter experiences under my belt, I'm in no rush to go out and date. We can be alone--TOGETHER. :P Savvy? ♥
This time, you managed to (in 100 words or less) make me: 1. chuckle (ah, Pennywise the evil clown!), 2. make me wince (Finn. Oh, Finn), 3. make me smile fondly (Burt's reaction to Kurt's revelation still makes me tear up) 4. and make my heart give that little "aw" when it stumbles across romance. Yeah, I'd say you made those 100 words pull their weight. :)
*purrs* And as usual, your reviews always lighten my step! Thank you, lovely. ♥ One of these days, I'm going to have to write a story in your honor. (Name the prompt, and I'll try my damnedest!)
That's 'cause it was silence. What you FAILED to hear was the beating of my heart, as it--ikidyounot--momentarily stopped after reading your response.
Are you serious? 'Cause if your serious, I have some list whittling to do. I can think of a few million prompts I'd love to see tackled, lezi-style, but I could be forced to commit to one.
Regardless, if you keep writing, I will be forced to keep commenting. :)
LAWLS, you are adorable! Yes, I was completely serious. I usually follow my poor attempts at jokes with silly smileys. :P
Whatever prompts you want to feed to my muse, feel free to shoot them my way! The more the merrier--I'll have more options for inspiration. (My muse can be a picky little bitch sweetheart.)
"I'm too afraid of people." --Spoken like a true antisocialite! I can relate, hun. But I imagine, with some courage and some persistence, we can find love out there. It's just the assholes and morons we have to weed through to get to it. ♥
Thank you for reviewing!! You're really too kind, love. (:

Unlike Kurt, I'm afraid of love but want to experience it. Sadly I'm too afraid of people. D:
