are you bloated?

I know it sucks but it's happened to me then the next day I poop my brians out or drink tons and break the wtaer weight and it's gone..

it's amazing how a couple number's send you into panic mode.

It happens everyday with me when I am up a single lbs.. and it sucks

*hugs*

If you've started a new exercise routine or stepped yours up dramatically that can cause a temporary weight gain. My last doctor even acknowledged that, although she said she had no idea why it happened. If that's it it'll probably drop off pretty fast, too, if you keep going.

hmm that's weird. i wouldn't say that my exercise program is hardcore or anything but i guess it could be the problem i just dont want to start gaining alot of weight back...hopefully it's water weight and will drop soon.

I have worked with a trainer when I did modelling and he told us that there was a method to working out. I explained I worked out nightly and he laughed but explained that was my problem with exercise and dieting.

He went into detail to say that your body becomes used to exercise every night and when you fail a night there is no weight loss because your body needs it and expects it at this point. His advice to avoid plateaus? To shake it up. Excercise three nights straight then skip one, then two and skip one or totally do a different part of the body. EG not cardio but toning/yoga but not the same routine.

Anything else is a stalemate to our bodies and it like having that late night cookie every night for a year.... our bodies get used to it. Shake p the routine and I hope that helps.

If it helps any, I found he was right and stopped excercising nonstop on a treadmill but took a third day off or a forth day off. :) I hope it helps.

You're doing great though

I don't really have any suggestions other than to keep at it. I was stuck at 240-241 last week actually so that's why I'm commenting, we have something in common. Anyhow, I changed nothing and now I'm down to 236 so keep going, I'm sure it's just bloating/other-body-stuff-that-sucks-majorly.
