I really enjoyed reading this, and LOLed at "Da beeerdie of a daaaawna siiingeth," Ryan drawled, waving his arms dramatically, "all night-a long-a." - so Ryan and only marginally worse than his actual attempt at Shakespeare from WLIIA: "the sky..beyond the windoow...is blueee" XD

I'm v. glad you like this Ryan. I didn't even mean him to be such a pain in the ass, but whatcha know, he started bullying on the first line of dialogue. And of course, Dan stood his ground. They basically used my fingers to snark at each other. POOR ME :P

Everything about this is pure gold; I was fighting off laughs all through it. I love how Ryan acts pretty much the same when he's dead, and how he treats Dan pretty much the same. And the bits with the iambic/haikus were brilliant!

I was going to pick out a favourite line, but I think every line is my favourite line.

Well, you know how it is. You start writing a fic because you think up an easy middle bit, where the boys are exchanging filthy limericks and Greg Proops is an ironic perpetually stoned swan. And then the FIRST part is easy, and the middle bit is like pulling your own teeth out. *soldiers on*

Lol, I know exactly how it is. I just finished a fic I started in 2009, and the only reason I was able to do so is that I was off work for 6 weeks after having major surgery. And this was not long after sungreen70 had said to me, "I'd do all sorts of indecent things to get your writing again." Be careful what you wish for and all that.

Will definitely keep an eye out for more of this story. I mean, Greg as an ironic perpetually stoned swan? If that isn't the role he was born to play, I don't know what is.

Ah, I have probably read your stuff then :) as I made my way through the archives like a hungry termite. I don't suppose you'd give away your former nickname? Anyhoo, I am looking forward to reading your fic very much. I am so glad that the mods did not let the comm die. Some of us are a bit slower in falling in love with things :) I mean, I usually shuffle breathlessly in a comm some time after the fireworks had gone off.
