I've started a vlog!
It took about forty attempts, but yeah, I started a vlog. It's basically going to be me reviewing books. -
Finished Whistling to the Elephants last night.
Really enjoyed it. It's about this ten-year-old who moves to New York with her extremely English parents, where she finds this zoo, and finds out about its history and links to her town. My Sandi Toksvig books have just arrived!
Yay! Getting new books is always awesome.
I've got Flying Under Bridges, Whistling for the Elephants, and Chain of Curiosity (which is a collection of her articles she wrote for the Sunday Telegraph. Another thing I didn't know she did.)
I'll write a little about each as and when I finish them. -
Just found out that Sandi Toksvig is an author as well as a comedian.
Seriously, she's written several books. The things you find online... God I love the internet.
Anyway, I've just ordered a couple, and they should be here in about a week. Yay! I love getting new books. -
I love finding new youtube channels.
I've just come across Meghan Tonjes on youtube, and holy crap is she amazing. Such a good singer!
I do love finding new stuff on youtube. There always seems such a long gap between videos in my sub box, so discovering good channels is always lovely. (Why yes, this is a plea for youtube recommendations.)
