Romilda hurried towards the entrance. She had nearly overslept. Last night had been a busy night at the Leaky Cauldron and she was certain people would notice the dark circles under her eyes from not getting enough sleep. By the time the Auror had walked up to her, she had already opened and unpacked her trunk, simply following the example of the others she saw.
The Auror searched her trunk and clothing for anything that wasn't allowed, before stuffing everything back in the trunk and closing it. He handed her a journal and nodded. "Welcome to Wizard Watch."
Romilda gave a small smile and walked through the gates, before entering the house.
Pansy swayed slightly as her feet touched the solid ground below her, she had never really gotten used to Portkeys and she usually preferred to avoid them.
Casting a levitation charm on her large trunk, she started walking towards the glass house and crowd. Pansy spotted the small gathering of Aurors standing by the entry gate to her new home and she swiftly made her way to them, her trunk floating behind her.
One of the Aurors stepped up to her and looked at her with a stern expression on his face.
"If your trunk is larger than the standard trunk, please resize it. Everything that has been shrunken to fit in it must be returned to its original size." The Auror spoke in a bored voice. "Please remove all of your possessions so we may inspect your trunk to make sure it accomodates the Wizard Watch rules."
Rolling her eyes, Pansy unlocked her trunk and floated all her possessions out of it. She glared at the Aurors.
"Do you have any idea how long it took me to actually fit everything in here without shrinking anything? Probably not, so you can repack it if you're so keen on snooping through everything." She sneered, when her eyes fell on Draco. She smiled back at him, thankful that she would not be alone when entering the house and she wouldn't be the first and only Slytherin there.
She unconsciously touched her wrist where a silver bracelet interwoven with gold threads rested against her skin. Pansy hoped that they wouldn't be looking too much at the bracelet transfigured from something they would certainly not allow inside if they knew. But for now it was just a pretty piece of jewellery.
"No, Miss Parkinson." The Auror snorted. "I'm sure your house elves worked long enough on it."
He waved his wand around her trunk before checking her possessions, nodding. He looked back at her and handed her one of the journals. "Please repack your trunk and you are ready to go inside. Welcome to Wizard Watch." He gave a small smirk.
Draco landed gracefully on the ground. Since he was little he had been used to using a portkey, because Narcissa always preferred that kind of transportation. But he was feeling sick even though he didn't let it show. He had been drinking since saturday night, trying to erase the memory from that horrid night.
When he looked at the glass house the reality of the situation suddenly hit him. He was going to be stuck in this house with people he had detested for years and only a few friends to back him up.
Noticing Pansy he send her a small smile. Gathering all his snarky courage he walked over to the aurors and the other contestants.
One of the Aurors stepped up to him and looked at him with a stern expression on his face.

Rita Skeeter disliked portkeys, but there were worse ways to travel. When she arrived outside the glass house, her stomach seemed to still be catching up. Steadying herself on her heels, she approached.
The trunk was large, but not obscenely so. 'No wizard space', the letter had said. Well. Her trunk didn't have said, but she'd shrunk everything so as to fit it all in. 'No magical objects', either, aside from her quill. Well, she'd almost obeyed that. If the Ministry inspectors managed to find the specific hairpins in her tin that had been transfigured, she might just have to give in graciously. That would be quite an effort.
She set it down before her and waited for them to come to her. Like hell she was opening it before she was asked to.
One of the Aurors stepped up to Rita Skeeter and looked at her with a stern expression on his face.
"If your trunk is larger than the standard trunk, please resize it. Everything that has been shrunken to fit in it must be returned to its original size." The Auror spoke in a bored voice. "Please remove all of your possessions so we may inspect your trunk to make sure it accomodates the Wizard Watch rules. I'm sorry, Miss Skeeter, no exceptions, not even for you."
Rita arched a brow. "Excuse me? My letter said out trunk was not allowed to use wizard space, not that we weren't allowed to shrink our belongings. Do you seriously expect me to survive for twelve weeks with what I could hold in this without shrinking? What do you take me for?"
With a wave of her wand, she popped the lid of the trunk open, but made no move to remove any of her belongings.
"I'm sorry, Miss Skeeter. Those are the rules and they are the same for everyone." The Auror replied. "Please remove your belongings and turn them back to their original size."
He drew his wand, in case our lovely Rita would need a hand.
It was time. Hermione made sure she had her trunk, and took several nervous deep breaths. She was both looking forward to this experience immensely, and also incredibly afraid. Still, at least several of her friends would be there. Including Luna.
She held the portkey, and felt the sudden wrench as if she were being pulled along through a whirlwind.
And then, as suddenly as it had begun, the horrid experience (these days, Hermione far preferred Apparation as a mode of transport) was over. She collapsed to the ground, then picked herself up and dusted herself off. She had arrived in front of the glass house which would be her home for the next...well, however long she survived in there. She picked up her wand and levitated her trunk, which floated along beside her as she approached the entrance.

Hermione opened her trunk, and reluctantly emptied her possessions from it. She had no reason to feel guilty, but nevertheless the Auror managed to make her feel guilty anyway. Had she done anything wrong in packing? She'd been considering bringing about 40 of her favourite books as reading material, but had decided that it would be rather difficult to pack them all without shrinking them, so had decided instead to bring only 5, all Muggle books that would surely be allowed through.
She stepped aside to let the Auror do his inspecting.
The Auror waved his wand around the trunk and over her possessions. Everything seemed to be in order. He nodded and handed her a journal. "Welcome to Wizard Watch, Miss Granger."

Everything shrunken... what?
