[ The video turns on and, for once, it's not pointing at some random location. Instead, it's looking at Rian's face - and then she opens her eyes, a sparkle in the blue orbs that had never been there before. She's flushed from happiness and she laughs, staring straight at the camera. It's almost too obvious what she got for Christmas. ]

[He's leaning against the door jam, watching as all of this happens before making his way over to her. He's at the very least surprised at what's going on, but there's a part of him, a tiny part that is happy for her.

Taking him in, knowing that even when her sight goes away again she will remember the way he looks makes her heart rush and she stands, rushing forward. She doesn't have to pause to count or wonder if she'll crash into him - she can see him, know him. It was the best gift she could recieve. ]

I have! After I looked at myself I went to see him. [ A hushed pause, then she blushes as she leans into the camera. ] He's beautiful.

[He tilts his head and brushes a few stray hairs away, expression soft.]
