[ The video turns on and, for once, it's not pointing at some random location. Instead, it's looking at Rian's face - and then she opens her eyes, a sparkle in the blue orbs that had never been there before. She's flushed from happiness and she laughs, staring straight at the camera. It's almost too obvious what she got for Christmas. ]

I could just stare at the flowers all day. So many colors!

Oh, yes! I... I never knew what colours were until today. They're amazing.

[lovingdream]

Never knew what colors were?! [ Gasp! ] Then you should see them all today!

Let's see, there's... red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. And then everything that's in between!

No, I... I couldn't see them. But I'm learning as I see them!

[ She giggles; this girl is so cute! ]

I -- I'll help you! Um...

[ Rapunzel points to her hair, and then over to Rian's hair. ]

That's yellow.

[withindark]

[ Rian giggles - oh, but that is a lot of hair. ]

And the sky is blue, right? Green grass, blue sky...

Exactly! Although, right now you can't see the sky. But the water's blue too!

[ She moves the camera to show her dress, and points to one stripe. ]

This is pink, and that's -- [ She moves to the next stripe over. ] -- purple!

[ Rian nods, laughing, before she pulls the camera back to show her own dress. ]

[ Rapunzel laughs. ajskdhkjh Rian is so adorable ajskh. ]

That's right! Your eyes are blue too!

It's wonderful! I always heard such wonderful things about the world, but I never believed I'd be able to see them!
