The best way to stop begging is to completely ignore her...yelling at her will not work since you are giving her attention which is one of the things she wants. OR you can put her in a separate room when you eat, preferably in her kennel. My dogs NEVER beg...
College book stores suck, it's a given. My community college had a cool used college book store down the street and the prices were HALF...it was called Ross Books, maybe you have one near you?
Aw don't write a letter to yourself. You do what you can, you have no reason to be hard on yourself.
Your mom deserves to SEE that letter, not us. I think it might even help you two.
I'm glad Adam is being nice for a change...have you found a job with his help or still looking?

Hah, I've tried ignoring Heidi. She does not stop. Plus it doesn't help that my mother will give in and give her scraps at the table. Really annoys me.

College books have gone up in price sooo much, if I can get it at Barnes & Noble or Borders I do.
Never heard of Ross Books.

I write these letters to let off steam and there is no way I'll show that to mom. She just doesn't get it and it's just too...I dunno, complicated. She's too stubborn and angry and would see that letter as me fighting her.

Not yet, I asked him last Friday so it's only been a week. I haven't looked this week, I'm too busy with classes and cleaning my room. Next week I should be back out looking.

Both people living with the dog need to do the SAME training, sheesh. Stuff like that irritates me. That's why I stopped working with people and their dogs, they are stupid sometimes...not you but you know what I mean...
Hmmm that sucks there is no Ross books near you...it was a LIFESAVER since I had to buy my own books when I went to college...my aunt paid for the tuition...
Ah I see. Well that's sad. When my mom and I had rough times, we would write letters to each other because we could say things we were afraid to say to each other's faces...it worked wonders in our relationship...
Seriously lady, you can do a little searching each day, you know? Like on craigslist, just see what's out there...:)
