I'm so sorry your mom treats you that way. It's definitely not right and it sounds like she has some serious issues of her own. Because I'm also a 'Dear Abby' fan I'll pass along the advice she would give - mom should have a complete physical to rule out any physical problems then both of you go to counseling. If she won't go, go on your own. Good luck. sorry to be preachy, but, been there done that still dealing w/it
I don't want to give my mom excuses but it was my dad's birthday last week (he's dead) so that's been getting to her. It's not really an excuse, just more of a cause P: We do go to therapy together sometimes or my therapist (hers as well) will see her alone. SHe's on anti-depressants (same as me). Not being preachy.
Well I really don't know what to say...my mom nor anyone in my family has ever treated me like your mom does so I'm at a loss... I really think you should get yourself out of that situation. It's really not healthy to be around someone like that. It's similar to having a mentally abusive boyfriend. Really, use some of the money you have to move out to a cheap apartment, and get away from being around her 24/7...I think it would really help you on all planes, such as losing weight. If you have someone constantly saying you can't do it and that you're "fat" why would you want to try? :( Please consider it...I really worry about you. It's not good to have a negative person constantly on you like that. In other news, I like the hat, I want me one...;) I have a red one that's ok, but it looks cuter on the dogs...I will be posting pics later...;) Sounds like your trips will be awesome, I am hoping you have a good time. Barnes and Noble is a nice place, I hope they hire you... If you ever need to talk let me know...
Hospital screw ups seem to be becoming all to common everywhere. My mum had a replacement knee op go wrong and ended up having to have it re-done after it became infected and wasn't healing, they left my dad sat outside after radiotherapy because they hadn't arranged transport back to the other hospital - just wheeled him out and left him sitting waiting for a pick-up that didn't arrive until a nurse realised he'd been there for hours. :-(
*looks up what that is* Oh oh oh one of those! Yeah they rule. I have a hat like that, only it has press-studs on the flaps to hold it at the top. I call it my deer hunting hat, but my family says it looks like Elmer Fudd. Once a lady in the cafeteria at university asked me if I was Russian because of it *shakes fist* darn crazy cafeteria lady!

Lol, well they are originally a Russian hat but everybody wears them now so that's a silly assumption!
