I didn't know she was that kind of person.

She is like that friend of yours.

Only she is very much aware of what she can do.

........Great.

I didn't know you knew that much about Haruhi, though.

You told me she could subconciously get what she wanted, that is, a manipulation of reality itself. So, whatever she wants, happens, correct?

Yukari has a slightly different ability: "manipulation of boundaries". But the effect is the same.

A-Ah. It seemed like you knew things that I didn't and that would actually be helpful to me

But yes, that's correct. But I'm not sure if Haruhi is capable of actually using her powers here.

Can you explain in a bit more detail what a boundary manipulation is?

A boundary can be defined as the point where one thing becomes another. That thing does not need to be physical objects, but can also be concepts. For example, physical boundaries include the boundary between one point and another, or between wave and particle. Conceptual boundaries include the border of life and death, and the border of fantasy and reality. Yukari is capable of controlling, so far as I know, all such boundaries. For all intents and purposes, it is a godlike ability.

...Definitely so.

Mm, but... does anyone know where the chip is? I mean, if nobody knows, it's not like she can ever get it out, right?

If it was found before, it can be found again.

How was it found last time? Did people randomly cut themselves up and hope for the best? How do we even know everyone's chip is in the same location?

...I don't know, to be honest.

So I basically have to worry about two Haruhi's ruining this place. Right?

Except one clearly is aware of what she is doing, as I said.

Well, so far, it seems Haruhi is incapable of using her powers here. Perhaps it will be the same for Yukari?

I am not sure if that is good or bad in this case.

Why would it be a bad thing?

It has...implications to the nature of this world and the ones that run it. It would mean that there really is no chance of leaving.
