[Here we have a wild Ezio, arguing loudly with his temporary NPC translator as they walk towards Ezio's first class. In Italian. He still doesn't know how to speak English, save for a few words like how to get to the wash room and all, but that's not important

[As she's making her way to the library to pick up some books, Quistis overhears someone speaking in a language she's unfamiliar with. The translator assigned to him looks a bit wary at all the yelling, and considering how Ezio doesn't look too happy, Quistis figures he might need some help.]

Are you alright?

[shankstwice]

[Stop.

Stare.

Cough.

Immediately Ezio's demeanor changes once he spots her, and he starts off with a grin and waves off the entire incident. Meanwhile, his translator is just shaking his head at the antics.]

Everything's fine, actually. I was just making a point.

[whiplashings]

[Quistis is surprised with the sudden change in demeanor-- it's pretty much a complete one eighty of his previous mood. She makes a quick glance over to the translator before returning her eyes to Ezio.]

What point were you trying to make? You seemed a bit distressed.

I don't need a wake up call, when I'm already awake. I heard it the first time.

[Ace has no idea what the guy's saying, but he certainly doesn't sound very happy. Rather than passing by, however, he decides to stand nearby and 'inconspicuously' listen in to try and see if he work out what's going on. This is obviously the best way to learn new words.]

[He knows he's being watched, actually. Or rather, has the impression he's being watched. Intuition, and all that. He stops, after speaking a few more lines to his translator, who nods.

And they just walk in silence. Cant be too sure about this one, since... well. Cant be too sure.]

[Awww, no picking up Awesome New Swear Words? Ace is a little disappointed by that, which is why he's 'unobtrusively' sneaking a despondant peek at the guy as he leaves. Damn you, translation difficulties. :|]

[No, eff you. Ezio thinks it's a stalker of sorts, so he's not doing a thing. And that is such bad stalker form.]

[ Frankly she's not sure about involving herself in what might be a fight. Isn't that what the Disciplinary Committee is supposed to do? Still, she can't just ignore it. So she looks to Ye Olde NPC Translator, worriedly. ]

... is something wrong? He seems upset.

[He's interrupted by Ezio, who asks what she just said. And they argue a little bit more, before Ye Olde NPC translator speaks for him.]

A point between two men, madam.

[ All this yelling is a bit nerve-wracking and worrisome. What the heck were they fighting about? ]

A point? What point? [ She has no concept of dude-stuff - heck, she might be crossing a line in asking. ]

[Oh, just a guy pissy at his wake-up call :D]

Someone likes to speak loudly when waking another up. [But since she sounds so worried over it...] But I suppose I can let it pass for today.

[reortus]

[ She recognizes the language as she's passing by - how could she not? Italy is the city of culture, art, and pizza, so she raises an eyebrow and slows to a halt nearby. ]

Come volgari, ragazzo. Arrabbiato tanto? (How vulgar, boy. Angry much?)

[He's very relieved that someone else knows his language. Aside from the idiot beside him.]

Perdonatemi il linguaggio, signora, ma a volte un uomo deve fare un punto in un certo modo. Ma si può essere certi che non succederà di nuovo, specialmente di fronte a voi. (Pardon the language, madam, but sometimes a man must make a point in a certain way. But you can be sure it wont happen again, especially in front of you.)

[ Waves a hand, smirking. ]

Molto bene. Almeno lo dici con stile. [ A chuckle. ] Ciò che sembra essere il problema? (Very well. At least you say it with style. What seems to be the problem?)

Il mio ... amico qui sembra di godere di essere un gallo al mattino. Poco importanti e fastidiosi. [A shrug.] (My... friend here seems to enjoy being a rooster in the mornings. Unimportant and annoying.)

[ ohey roomie. Snow never got the chance to talk to Ezio before, but he still recognizes him. ]

There a problem?

[Oh, hey, you're that other guy.]

Did you hear this rooster crowing earlier? [After that, the translator raises an eyebrow at Ezio, and the Italian man simply grins evilly.]

[shivacycle]

[ laughs. ] Not really. I'm kind of dead in the morning.

So, he's your translator?

[shankstwice]

Bastardo fortunato... (Lucky bastard...)

[That earns him a sharp look from the translator, before the real words come on.] He is, and he's loud enough enough to wake the dead.
