[Even though the hour is getting late, Selphie is rather comfortably sprawled out on one of the benches that's strewn decoratively about the Quad. There's still just enough light from fixtures and the moon for her to make out what she's scribbling down on her collection of papers

[ It is very bad to sneak up on people, unfortunately for them, it's one of the things Lavi finds most entertaining. It's always interesting to find out what people did in their spare time.

Selphie, did you realize the redhead perched behind you curiously for the past while? Maybe he ought to start speaking soon. Like now. ]

[No, no she did not notice the redhead behind her. So when Lavi talks? If Selphie had been a cat, the entire length of her coat would have been fluffed out in a defensive manner. As it is, she just turns sharply to face the one eyed stealth machine.

Planning? What. OH! She grins, if just a little hesitantly.]

A party! [She pauses, and gives Lavi a sly little look.] Do ya make it a habit of sneaking up on girls in the dark?

A party in the dark?

[ Oh, oh, that does make him a bit of a creeper, doesn't it? Whoops, maybe he really should have just kept quiet and watched. Wait, that would be even creepier.

Lavi, time to go put on that innocent, 'who me?' face on.]

Oh no, encounters like these just tend to coincidentally happen to me when I come up from behind~

[Wait. What? She glances from the redhead to her notebook and back before narrowing her gaze just a little.] Planning in the dark! But the party isn't going to be. I don't think, at least.

[Yeah, it's probably a good thing that you said something, or that would have been even more creeper-like. As it is, Selphie's just suspicious.]

You're suspicious.

[Maybe she's teasing, even if she thinks it's true. He must be a cadet, right?]

"Studying, Miss Tilmitt?"

[That's the only reason someone would have a notepad and pencil with them...Correct? And Mitsuru looks like she's moving from one study spot to the next, judging by the books and papers she's carrying. Why she's stopping to talk is anyone's guess; it could be that all this late night cramming is beginning to take a toll on her judgement.]

[The sound of Mitsuru's voice caught Selphie's attention nicely. Her new best friend! 8D Selphie grinned up at the red haired woman, before springing up to her feet.]

Studying? Nope! I don't have to, since I'm a SeeD! [Rank A, no Less. There's no studying in Selphie's future!]

What about you huh? You look like you've been studying hard.

"O-oh? Yes, that's right."

[Well. That was an awkward thing to misremember. Somehow, she resists the urge to bury her head in her hand; maybe because both are full of books and notes.

She does, however, nod in response to that question.]

"Studying is the best way to keep busy, and keep a mind focused on the right things, I've found."

[Translation; 'I don't have really bad nightmares if I study until I pass out.']

[Don't worry Mitsuru, she's not judging you for that! Instead, she grins, peering curiously at the books and study materials in the other woman's arms. When she speaks the next time, Selphie doesn't manage to stop her laughter preemptively.]

It's not exactly my number one choice, but if it works for you! Maybe you should take a break, though Mitsuru. Have some fun!

[Who says wandering at night wasn't a good time to find people? It seemed to be the perfect opportunity to explore all the nooks and crannies of this place - to even run across familiar faces. Or at least in this case...hear a familiar voice that drew him towards the quad.

There he saw the curled hair in the dim lighting. It couldn't be...could it?

Sure it could. Two years had passed since he'd seen her and people were supposed to grow older.]

Selphie? What is everyone going to enjoy?

[Wah-hey! Selphie turned in her seat in a slightly defensive manner. Maybe chilling out and planning in the dim quad was a bad idea. She was a prime target for being snuck up on! Wide green eyes focused on the boy who called out her name. She blinked, before leaning forward to try and place his face. It was only after a moment that her admittedly somewhat scattered brain recognized that there had been a question.]

Huh? What... OH! Haha! A birthday paty for all of my friends! ...But. [She paused.] How do you know my name?

[Gakupo now had to study like mad for the upcoming exams. He felt so behind after sleeping for a few days straight, but was grateful he didn't miss anything.

He sees Selphie in passing and decides to pay her a visit, walking towards her. Is that a look of frustration on her face? That seemed odd.]

Good to see you, Selphie. Need any help?

[Selphie blinked, her attention shifting from her frustration and empty stomach to her new company. Once recognition flooded her face, a smile grew on her lips.]

Kamui! Booyaka! You look completely bushed. [Just an observation. She shakes her head a moment later.] I think I just need a break! It's hard to plan something out when it's gotta be perfect!

[Blinks and looks around warily. How did she...good thing his manager wasn't around, or the poor girl would get an earful.]

I'm alright overall. But...how did you know my family name?

[acrescentwish]

[She's perceptive enough to catch onto the change in body language. That doesn't mean that she's not confused though.]

Huh? But why wouldn't I know your name?

[Rion is aware enough of his inability to say 'hello' or something that he makes his presence known in different ways. This is why he's approaching her from behind, but loudly - almost as if deliberately stomping so that she can hear that there's someone coming up behind her. It'd be rude to startle her!]

[Loud Rion is Loud. Her attention is caught rather quickly, and once she sees it's Rion, her sense of humor will get the best of her. Oh the effort is kind of admirable.]

Booyaka, Rion! Didn't wanna sneak up on me huh? What're you doing out here so late?

[derped]

[Rion shrugs expressively (it's not as if anything he does isn't expressive, though - he's very 'loud' with his body language, so to speak), as if to say "I don't know." He gestures towards the list then, looking at her questioningly - he does have the board to write on, but he'd really like it if she can interpret this without words.]

[Oh she'll get the idea! It takes her a minute of parsing the information before she grins.]

I'm planning a party! You'll come, right Rion?

[She steps over, standing side by side with the long haired boy before showing him the rather messy looking page of plans and ideas.]
