[Squall had been in his office on the third floor the moment Garden crash-landed along the surface of the water. The odd thing here and there had fallen off his desk and shelves, himself jolted in his chair. Once everything seemed to calm, only then did he abandon his paperwork to leave the office and begin to make his way from one end of the floor

[ Guess who's wandering around and not going to cling to him all scared-like, but taking all of this in a perfectly calm and composed stride. Her eyes spot him, and almost recognizes him as... ah, right. The Commander. ]

There seems to be a bit of chaos in the Cafeteria. [ Is her way of greeting. ]

[He stops and looks towards the cafeteria. Right. Noon. Lunch.]

[There's a boy sitting on the bottom of the stairs with a hand to his head. That's right, it's not the tremors or the falling furniture or the sudden quake that did Hope in, it's the rocking motions afterward. He can handle riding on flying motorcycles, on huge lugging machines, and even on rolling cannonball fal'cie with no issue, yet surprisingly enough, Hope Estheim is especially susceptible to...sea sickness.]

[Of course it just had to be Hope. Just kidding. Squall moves to his side upon seeing him holding his head and crouches, thinking maybe he did hit his head or worse.]

[Slowly, Hope lifts his head, cringing a little when he tries to stand up. Right, Cadet Formalities - just went over that in class.]

[Cadet Formalities is the last thing on Squall's mind right now. He presses a hand lightly to Hope's shoulder to keep him sitting.]

[Gwendolyn was, unfortunately, at the Quad when the 'quake' hit. Unfortunate because she had to glide in a hurry back to the Garden for fear of getting left behind.

Managing to land at the entrance, Gwendolyn rushes back inside, barely listening to the headmaster's instructions before noticing the Commander exiting the elevator. She stands at attention, partly out of protocol, partly because she's not sure where to start looking for people.]

[He nearly passes her by, his mind on the cadets running around or sitting injured. He stops and turns back to her.]

...At ease.

Are you hurt?

Merely a mild exhaustion, sir. I can still aid my fellow cadets, if need be.

[She'll have to do that without use of her wings, however, but she doubts she'll need them for now.]

[Nods.]

The help is welcome. Help anyone who is able to walk to the infirmary. Anyone unable to move or severely injured, try to flag down a faculty member if you see them. Or another cadet to fetch someone from the infirmary.

[While he knew the Faculty would go around and check on everyone, Squall was moving towards the dormitories. The cadets were still his 'business', aka his to give TLC to.

Squall had spotted Abel's spectacular wipe-out and moved to where he sat, crouching in front of him.]

Squall caught the movement just up ahead. He heads towards the bush and leans over it, peering around for whoever was flung there.]
