I'm sitting here taking a few moments which really should be used for another writing assignment. I took Gibbs to get groomed today. It's his first time. Dude. Open book tests are not only bullshit but they're unfair. They believe that you have to have complete photographic memory to pass one.
It's like. Fuck no, I don't remember what fucking page out of the 900 page textbook you gave me that has this information on it. You smoking a crackpipe, motherfucker?
No. Don't be hard on yourself for open-book bullshit. Because that's all it is. Bullshit.
How about test me on shit I actually should know, or need to know in order to do well in the selected degree of my choice? How about that?

I agree about the open books tests. I mean, we have a week to read and hopefully grasp everything in 6 chapters each time a quiz is done. I get panicky when I know I am being timed on it as well. This last one, I studied, studied, studied. Felt so confident, and then totally bombed with a grade of 56% @_@ I was in tears for days. At least with the final, she gave us a study guide. Otherwise I would be trying to memorize my entire text book.
