Shine away..
I'm sitting here taking a few moments which really should be used for another writing assignment. I took Gibbs to get groomed today. It's his first time. I wasn't going to, but I know the likelihood of Ecamer taking him out often or even bathing him while I am gone is rather dim. So I figured I would get him all cleaned up, get his nails trimmed and have him clean and happy. (Plus the fact I found someone to do it all for $10 didn't hurt.)
Kindergoth is out with her aunt. I haven't yet decided what 'special' thing I am going to do with her. Her aunt always takes her to the movies, the mall, and chuck-e-cheese. I'm thinking a trip to the mountain may be good. She loves going to the Cookie Cabin and getting a chocolate chip cookie the size of a dinner plate. I love going for the pizza and hot cider. Course Gibbs might come with us.. and supposedly there will be snow.. I don't know. We will see.
2 AM Monday morning, I will be on my way. The fact that my back has made it to where I was laid up and house bound for nearly 2 weeks has caused me panic about this. But, after actually getting out and doing stuff today, I feel much better. It's a wonder what a dose of fresh air can do. I'm not as panicky anymore.. except about how I am going to get my books. I'm still stressed about that. No.. I still haven't packed yet. I will start this afternoon. After I get my meds refilled.
I bombed two of the three quizzes in my criminal justice class. I wont be making it out of there with an A even if I ace the final. The best I can hope for is a high B. I'm trying not to be hard on myself about it, but I am still disappointed. I really hope this will not be a reoccurring theme with me. The sad part is, I studied even harder after I bombed the first quiz and I made an even lower grade. And the part that is really, really sad... all of it was open-book. Yes. I am the poster child for Epic Failure. ಠ___ಠ I will be studying a lot on the train.
Currently I am playing email-tag with the people who provide my software for my classes. Since I have been at home, I put it all on my desktop. I didn't know I could not have it on my laptop as well... so I am trying to get that all sorted. It's such a pain.
I cant fit all my iTunes stuff on my iPod. Oh well. probably wont be taking it with me this go around. I am going to bring an anime series though.. I just cant decide which. So I will let you help. :)
