While in the checkout line at the grocery tonight, the woman behind me unloaded her cart then ran back for one more thing. The cashier must've thought it was my stuff. Hell, I have a hard enough time making myself pay $10 for the regular ol' movies. Yes, I'm cheap.

I knew about Zappos but DSW is new to me so thanx for the link. In return do you know about another shoe site I recently stumbled upon: http://www.endless.com/?

However I usually want to try my sandals on in a store as for some reason though my shoe size is 7 my sandal size is occasionally a 6 *grr argh*

That Fesh story was sweet.

And interesting about Spoon. Springsteen chooses his set list the day of the show also I'm fairly sure. In fact, at one show I was at, he changed the set list mid-show! And he's been doing a stump the band schtick for a while - people give in posters with what song they want to hear and he chooses a random bunch.

I like when bands mix things up, just to show how much they enjoy touring. Otherwise, I imagine it would be such drudgery.

I hate when cashiers remark on my purchases, however innocent most of them are.

I've really liked Born shoes in the past, though I didn't find any I wanted while shopping this time. Maybe I'll look for them when I need another pair of sandals. :)
