1. What is it about school vacations that makes me want to cook and cook? Especially since the results seldom turn out well. But! Yesterday I had a strange yen to make bread, so I started poking around online for a good recipe. You don't know me from Adam, but I just wanted to say that I've really enjoyed reading your meta on BSG and other things... and I love the fic you write! I do hope that before you leave the fandom you'll write the Kara pov of Decline and Fall.

Thank you! And yeah, I've tried over and over to write that thing, but I just can't seem to get it to work. I'm working on a remix of something else, though; hopefully you'll enjoy it. :)

a) AWESOME looking Challah. Nice work. I LURVE Challah French Toast. Yum.
2) Love the socks. I'm in awe of people who can make such complicated things.

Challah is one of my favorite kinds of bread to bake. Yummm. And so useful for leftovers, you can make French Toast (or regular toast-toast), bread pudding, let it dry out and either chop it into chunks for stuffing or send it for a spin in a food processor for great bread crumbs (which when mixed with dried herbs make a fabulous breading for any kind of meat -pork chops are a particular fav. of mine). It's so great. Your loaves look fabulous. Now I want a piece and a cup of tea ( ... )
