Hee! Good way to put it. The rest of your post makes me sad, though, because I *do* value good grammar. I'm fine with not using it in, say, LJ posts, because I type the way I speak. The tricky part is that casual usage is fine in, well, casual situations, but transferring that to standard English usage just bothers me. My students don't bother to spell because they have spellcheck, and we've seen how many people on LJ don't bother with capitalization or proper punctuation. If everyone relies upon word processors to fix mistakes, then what will happen to grammar in the future?
