At least the flowers are pretty.

Yup, it's pollen season here in Atlanta. The stuff's so thick that you can actually see yellow tire tracks on the asphalt. My knitting group sat outside today, and it got all over my yarn. My eyes are burning so badly that I should probably just skip wearing contacts for the next week. On the plus side, the wisteria is blooming! (Should take a ( Read more... )

Thanks for the slate blurb on water. I was having water retention/edema problems in my legs and since cutting back on the mindless and constant drinking of water, I have seen a huge improvement!

Ouch! :(

The eight glasses thing is a relief, though my problem is that I need to drink MORE water.

I'm not into BSG anymore, and I know that I don't respond to your entries much, but I wanted you to know how much I enjoy the little links and things you have so often. At least 9 times out of 10, I click on at least one and really find an enjoyable and informative read. So thank you.

Also, re: pollen. Thanks for explaining it, LOL! This is my first Spring in Georgia (I live just about 45 minutes out of Atlanta) and wondered what all that yellow stuff all over my car was. I've never had that anywhere else I lived before.

Anyhoo, just wanted to say 'thanks!'

Aww, thank you! I have fun hunting down things for the linkspams, though they're probably also evidence that I spend WAY too much time online!

Yeah, the pollen is *scary*. When I stepped outside earlier, my eyes were irritated and my sinuses ached within two minutes. But the tire tracks on the asphalt thing still amuses me. ;)

Hey, if I could spend more time online, I would. I ain't judging.

I've been lucky in that pollen hasn't bothered me in any way other than having to constantly clean my windshield. I hope it stays that way. Of course, it could just be a lot worse in Atlanta than outside the city.
