Three-day weekend? More time for knitting!

Wow! Those fingerless gloves really were quick and (relatively) easy! I finished the first one tonight. The pattern was apparently designed for smaller hands than mine, but it still turned out quite well. Of course I had to take a photo, plus another of a ball-band dishcloth I made earlier this week. ( Yarn porn. )

I loved Fridays because I was distracted all week, and then I got to spend the weekend doing the fangirl thing. Now I'll have to go to bed shortly after the eps air.

Ditto for the Saturday nights here. My routine was watch at 9pm, then race over to the computer at 10pm to listen to the podcast, and then discuss and dissect the entire episode with razzamatazz0911 (in NZ where it was already Sunday afternoon) until the wee hours, and then I'd sometimes watch it again before bed. Now there will be none of that because of things like oh, I don't know, WORK ON MONDAY. LOL

At least we Canucks will get the broadcast simultaneously and not have to wait 23 hours. Which will make it much easier for spoiler-free me than avoiding LJ and the flist on Saturdays.

The simulcast is definitely a bonus for y'all. ;) Still, the move is really annoying. I've been in fandoms before where the show aired on a weeknight, but BSG on Fridays has spoiled me. Alas!

Wow, I cannot believe how beautiful her body is. I had to laugh at the part in the article where she said she didn't get bothered by posing nude because "we all have the same parts." I wish!! I want her parts!!

Well, I looked at the pictures first, I admit it. Then I read the article. Then I looked at the pictures again. I'm also surprised by how different she looks when she's not playing Six.

Thanks for the link to the scans. I'm debating whether to show them to the boyfr. ;) It's amazing what the wig does to her in terms of changing her appearance. In some of the pics, I barely recognize her!

I've never been one for gloves, but these really are fun. ;)

She came to Dragon*Con in '05, with her Gina-ish brown hair, and she looked even lovelier.

Ha! In that radio interview last month, Katee (who is apparently BFF-ish with Tricia - go figure!) said that Tricia's husband was incredibly supportive. Guess he figures he's happy showing off his wife as long as she comes home to him. ;)

Strangely enough, I don't read any of the blogs, though I've seen and bookmarked dozens of them. Sometimes I'll go by one via a Google link, to see how they did a project I'm working on, but I've never really been interested in seeing what others are doing. I'm odd that way. ;)
