On His Own
Last time: Celder and his sisters went to Uni and moved into a dorm that seemed to be full of women that just couldn't keep their hands off Celder, or was it the other way around? After graduating with a degree in Economics, Celder is now ready to live on his own and join the Business world.

After graduation, Celder didn't really want to go back to his old farming life with his parents. So instead of moving back into their little farmhouse out in the country, he decided to rent a really nice penthouse right in the middle of downtown. His new digs had giant windows that gave a gorgeous view of the city. Celder was in hog heaven! (This fabulous apartment lot is called The Tower Apartments and is made by selenaq13, my new favorite lot-maker!)
Celder got lucky and landed a job in the Business career track on his very first day in town. And he didn't start at the bottom either. He was hired as a Vice President. Not too shabby for a new college graduate. He was going to need that salary if he wanted to keep living in his awesome penthouse!
In his time off, Celder usually spent his days working on the last few logic points he needed to get to the top of the Business track,and also working on his charisma skill which is a G2 goal. He usually spent his nights with the ladies. :P
He lived like a true bachelor for a while, living off pizza and shows about cars. He didn't have to put the toilet seat down, or clean up his whiskers left in the sink after shaving. And he could pass gas whenever he wanted to! Life couldn't get any better!
But it did get a little better because Ahryl started coming over and showing him how to cook some real meals. He might be a man all grown up, but he'll always be Ahryl's little sproglet!
He takes after his mom quite a bit too, regarding his personality. He likes to play pirates in the bathtub just like Ahryl used to!
He had a really good day at work a couple days later! He won a chance card (which I forgot to take a picture of, but you can see the reward he got) and received an immediate promotion!
And even better than the unexpected promotion...Celder brought home a co-worker, and she just so happens to be a PT sim. That means she's eligible for marriage and she will satisfy the G2 optional goal of marrying a co-worker! I thought it was pretty much "in the bag" that these two would end up together, until:
This is the lovely Cicada Pollen by wooden_badger, and she was having none of Celder and his romantic ways! Their relationship started off really bad.
But never the one to let rejection get in his way, Celder continued his woo'ing of Cicada. She finally gave in due to the awesomeness that is Celder Floosby. Things started to really heat up.
Until he got interrupted by an important business phone call that he just had to take. This made me giggle because this generation is scripted as being a power couple that are so focused on work that they don't have time for their kids and family. So this interruption was perfect for these two! And Cicada waited patiently for him to get done with his business call. (Notice the weird deep sea diver in the background; what an odd choice of apparel.)
Celder: "Now then, where were we?"
As I was saying, things finally started to heat up for these two! And the deep sea diver has chosen to be a creepy stalker deep sea diver.
Even though he's a business sim now, Celder still has dreams of becoming a rock star. So he visits another really neat lot built by selenaq13 ( Waylon's Haunt) quite frequently because of their stage setup. He's going to make a good rock star someday.
His new love interest, Cicada Pollen, was there too. But she was busy playing poker with Celder's plantsim brother, Hemlock Floosby. So he was free to mingle a bit with some of the other ladies.
He spied Lenna Rivers (by stonell) over in a corner of the bar, so he sauntered on over to her. He made quick work of adding her to his list of suitors.
Then this little pop up surprised me. It was at this moment that I began to realize the benefit of Celder being a romance sim and a walking lover boy.
All of these ladies came a' callin' not too long after. Woohoo for Celder being a loosey-goosey! (by the way, those sims are Chirp by kathsy, Angel by racetrackd, and Alma by huning)
Speaking of the super cute Alma by huning, Celder brought her home from work with him one day. So now he's got 2 potential spouses that still satisfy the G2 goal of marrying a co-worker! It will just come down to which one he has a higher attraction too and/or rolls more wants for.
The next day, Lenna came through on her promise and Celder was given a promotion at work! One more to go!
Weird glitch is weird. Apparently potted cacti as headwear are "in" this season.
Potted plant-hat guy was really just to break up these two promotion pictures! Lol. Celder was finally promoted to the top of the Business career track the next day! Woot, that's a big G2 goal off the list now. And as you can see, he's also really close to maxing his charisma skill which is the other big goal of this generation.
Most of the other goals for Celder during this generation are just to get married and have a kid. Sooooo, it's time to figure out who he wants to be with! And the lucky gal is Cicada Pollen. He has a little more chemistry with her, and as you can see from the last picture of his wants panel, he also had the want to get engaged to her (although he feared it too). But still. Cicada it is!
A pure coincidence, Ahryl happened to walk by as Celder was asking Cicada to move in with him. She immediately struck up a conversation with Cicada and they both hit it off wonderfully!
It seems that Ahryl really approves of Celder's choice for a spouse and mother of his children. She's really excited to have some grandbabies.
Celder wasted no time in asking Cicada to marry him. She said yes, of course, and I said, Hurray!
So here is our future G2 spouse. She's soooo cute and innocently pretty. Cicada is a Family/Popularity sim with a LTW to reach a golden anniversary. She's a Pisces and is super active and super nice. And she brings in an awesome new skin/hair color combo into the family gene pool. Thanks for her wooden_badger!
His mother may have had taken the moral high road and not engaged in premarital woohoo, but Celder sailed that ship a long looooonnng time ago. So Celder and Cicada quickly got down to business and other residents in the Tower Apartments swear they heard a lullaby playing that night. :D
