Generation 1 Gets Old
Last time: Ahryl was accepted into the Garden Club and given a Wishing Well prize. She also grew all of the plants needed to meet the generation 1 goal. In fact, all generation 1 goals have now been met! All the kids became teens and Hemlock (Ahryl's plantsim baby) moved out on his own.
This is the last real update of generation 1!! I will post an update after this one that shows the completion of all the G1 goals and then an heir poll. Let's get on with this update!

Ahryl and Ois tried to spend as much time with their kids as possible. After Hemlock moved out, it really hit them that their babies were growing up and the youngest three would soon be moving out to go to college. Ahryl loves spending time with her family, but she hates it when her leafy head gets stuck in the shelf above the couch!
Celder really likes to play the punching game. He's constantly harrassing the rest of the family and trying to punch them as hard as he can. Boys will be boys!
Wylla and Vesper are as close as sisters can be. They spend a lot of time together and have finally mended the old troubles they used to have when Vesper would refuse to hug Wylla. They're both fun-loving teens, and Vesper's favorite thing to do is whistle. She's adorable!
With Hemlock gone from the house, Ahryl has had to recruit the teens to help her in the garden. She's got to get her plants harvested by the time winter's first snow falls. Vesper is the only one that helps without complaining though.
The kids are starting to get annoyed by Ahryl's constant gardening frenzy. She even forces them to drink juicy drinks using her fresh produce. She says it helps them finish their homework faster, but they could care less. They do it though, just to keep her off their backs. Apple juice really does make them finish their homework faster, and tomato juice is a life saver during the winter. My sims are always freezing this generation because so many things have to be done outside (digging and gardening) and the tomato juice warms them up!
The first snowfall of this winter has arrived and the kids rush out to have some fun! Wylla looks especially excited while Vesper just looks gorgeous as always.
Celder joins the girls outside and much snowman buidling ensues.
And Celder has passed on his love of the punching game to the girls.
I finally caught the culprit behind the trashcan tipping frenzy that has been going on lately. And to my surprise it is super sweet Vesper. I have no idea why she's doing it, but it's actually a good thing because Ahryl can use the trash as compost!
The family still makes good use of the wishing well, although Ois isn't quite sure it's supposed to catch on fire like that.
Ois: Hmm, does this mean I'm not going to get my money?
Birthday time! This time for the sims of generation 1: Ahryl and Ois.
Ahryl goes first, as she's older than Ois by three days or so. Pure love in her eyes whenever she looks at her handsome yellow-skinned hubby.
And her lovely family cheers her on, except for Hemlock who coudldn't make it over for the party. And not ever having a plantsim before, I was pleasantly surprised by the explosion of leaves when she transitioned as opposed to the confetti sims normally get!
Ois goes next, a few days later!
More cheering and eating of birthday cake follows Ois' big transition. They are definitely a party-lovin' family!
And here's the lovebirds after their elder birthday. Ahryl looks almost exactly the same, except she walks a little hunched over now. Ois looks completely different since I don't seem to have a gray version of his little mohawk. Oh well, even aliens go bald it seems!
But getting old doesn't slow down the Floosby generation 1 elders at all. Ahryl goes on to make $10,000 off of her precious plants, and Ois digs up a huge amount of goods which he promptly sells for more money. (His lake is frozen over since it's winter, otherwise you'd see a bunch of fish here too!)
